Why is Palin called a "reformer", what does this mean describing an extreme right wing conservative?

Palin is against legal abortion, does not care for equal pay, believes the war with Iraq is her Christian God's request, Sarah truly believes big oil should drill anywhere they wish, AND does not believe global warming is man made. The state of Alaska knows nothing of a health plan now or never, state resources are used for personal feuds, and the economy can be best served relieving taxes from our sacred oil companies. That does not sound very reforming, sounds like Bush.

1 Her "reformer" credit comes from defeating incumbent Republican governor Frank Murkoswki. Kicking out an incumbent is ordinarily no mean feat, but Murkowski was mired in various scandals, and he came in third in the primary race. She proceeded to kick out Murkowski's cronies from office.

That lets her claim she's for clean government. As you point out, though, on a larger scale it's not really all that much.

3 People read more into the word than it deserves:reform: to form again. While the connotation is to improve, it does not have to improve to reform. Just to change.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
