Obviously it's not the victim. Rape is the ONLY crime where victims are routinely blamed. Nobody blames the victim of theft or murder.
If your uncle's views were represented in law then it would give a carte blanche to rapists. They would simply say that the woman in the burka is obviously a woman and that was enough to tempt him.
For the most part, it's the rapist fault. No one asks to be raped. Most of the rapes aren't because some girl/guy is dressing sexy or anything.
It's just the rapist wanted sex and saw someone and raped them. Simple as that. However, if it's a case where the girl was stupid enough to go to some guys house/car and was like "I didn't realize he was going to rape me" even though they didn't know the guy(s) at all and it's pretty clear and obvious you shouldn't go alone, or if they were teasing the guy, basically in a way saying let's have sex but not really wanting to have sex, just messing with the person, then it's not 100% the rapist fault.
Not saying it's the victims fault, but common sense goes a long way. Flirt with some guy with barely any clothes on saying how much you want him and then just say you were teasing him, that's low on your part. Go with a guy you don't know all that well or at all into some place where you have no idea where you're going but you think he's hot, that's not using your brain.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
