Why should taxpayers be liable for mismanaged union pension funds?

A union petitions FOR universal labor standards and I see no conflict at all in your scenario. The context "against" suggests a partisan predisposition that misrepresents the essential circumstances (as partisan predispositions so often do).

I am fairly sure what you are talking about would be considered discrimination and would be frowned upon by most people... I don't think there is a limit on who can assemble and create organizations (which is what a union is) no matter of your place of employment... that is a basic right of people protected in the constitution... the same constitution that your republicans so furiously "defend" when it is convenient to you...

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
