Why the check engine light on a 2001 Toyota Camry won't go out?

The light is on because the computer has detected a problem with the emissions system. Have it scanned and the problem repaired, and the light reset with an OBD2 scan tool. It will not go out until the problem is corrected.

Go to autozone for a free diagnostic check & the computer will tell you no purchase nessasary.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
