You've obviously caught on to the ongoing conservative modus operandi Find a position that a democrat supports, then devote a huge amount of effort into slandering, smearing and utterly destroying anyone & anything that supports a current democratic policy. There's an old saying that tends to represent failure for conservatives, they constantly blame liberalism for these perpetual failures, but a closer look at conservative principles points out the obvious logical errors which dominate most standards of conservative correctness: When opposing a democratic idea, it's not important to be accurate, it's more important to be consistently opposed to new or better ideas. Another gleaming conservative axiom flows from the contradiction where holding two opposing ideas as equal when they can be used to pillory democrats or their policy ideas.
You see, conservatism is a branch davidian compound where all crazy ideas go to be safeguarded against any reasonable criticism. Insanity is using the same answers to all problems, yet expecting a different result each time. Liberalism is viewed by conservatives as a one scape-goat fits all conservative failure blame-games.
