Why do people think Jehovah's Witnesses follow the watchtower?

Dear Sister, because this is what they've been led to believe by both the clergy and it's followers; even though they use bible aid books for their "sunday school" studies. Somehow it's wrong in their eyes for us to use bible study aides such as the watchtower and the awake magazines. You know what I find interesting though?

They criticize us and many have used our publications for sermons and lessons. I placed a magazine with a parish priest, and he used it for his youth group because it contained info about today's young folks leaving religion. He thanked me for it, but I doubt seriously if he told his youth group and others where the information came from.

*smile The world is always looking for a way to beat us up and try to tear us down, but we are resisilient and we have both Jehovah God and Jesus on our side. Agape.

One reason why The Watchtower and have touched the hearts of millions of readers is that they are journals of integrity and truth. In fact, it was over the issue of loyalty to Bible truth that The Watchtower began to be published. For the past 114 years, The Watchtower, like a skillful lawyer, has established itself as a defender of Bible truth and doctrine.

In the process, it has won the confidence of millions of appreciative readers. It still powerfully supports the ransom. And it continues to be the principal instrument of “the faithful and discreet slave” and its Governing Body for announcing Jehovah’s established Kingdom and dispensing spiritual food “at the proper time.”—Matthew 24:14, 45 The most important factor of this Magazine ,is to honor Jehovah God , the Supreme Ruler of The Universe.

Just as Watchtowers in ancient times enabled a person to observe developments from afar, so the Watchtower shows us the significance of World events in the light of Bible prophecies.It comforts it's readers with the Good News that Jehovah's Kingdom which is a real Government in heaven, will soon bring an end to wickedness and transform the earth into a paradise. It promotes faith in Jesus Christ who died so that many can gain everlasting life and now is ruling as King of Gods Kingdom.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
