Why will conservatives/republicans never turn on MSNBC or CNN?

They're well trained by the right wing media to reject anything but fox and limbo. The right wing is terrified of exposing their sheep to other points of view.

I don't need a news station to tell me how I should think.

MSNBC and Fox are extremes. Best to take them both with a grain of salt.

Because they are afraid if they watch a station that tells the truth Fox will disown them.

MSNBC is fine till Chris Matthews then all the Propaganda starts till O'Donnell is done . CNN has Erin Burnett And at least they are trying to be Neutral . MSNBC at night is Further left than Stalin and Castro.

I hate to use tired cliche's, but the conservatives seem to be disturbingly Nazi-like lately. One facet of this phenomenon is the idea of ideological purity. Conservatives like to tout their conservative credentials with absurd proclamations, like "I never watch CNN, MSNBC, or any of the other lamestream media."

It's almost as if they are afraid state police would cart them away for even considering a liberal point-of-view. If you want to know about the rest of this Nazi-like comparison, just read comments posted by conservatives. They talk about rounding up liberals and sending them to re-education camps, if not just summarily executing them, all the time.

Both stations are retareded. MSNBC always kisses obamas *** even when obama does things they don't support. Fox is the same crap on the other sife.

Some people get annoyed by listening to garbage. It is why there are no Lil' Wayne CDs in my collection.

It allows them to stay ignorant. Republicans today are no divergent than cult members....you know how cults will advise their members from talking to reporters and shunning outside information. Liberals aren't afraid of opposing info because we have facts and logic on our side.

If republicans had facts on their side they would encourage their cult members to look at other sources. I mean Fox News blatantly lies and they know it and it can easily be seen when normal networks play clips in full context or provide the full story, not cherry picked information that only supports republicans. I swear if an elderly white man stormed into the white house and started firing shots and Obama tackled and subdued him Fox News would run the headline "Obama physically attacks elderly gentleman".

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
