Ya got me partner. There ain't even one. But if you hold your nose and vote for Obama, Randy Paul can get the G0P nomination in 2016.
YEE-HAW!
The are multiple ways to go about achieving libertarian goals. You can run third party, which they have done for DECADES and failed miserably at. OR you can go through an established party platform yet advocate the EXACT SAME THINGS.
Gary Johnson was an eight year, two term governor for, you guessed it, the GOP and never compromised his principles. He's now running third party after attempting to get the main party nomination. Guess what?
He will get hardly any votes. Rand Paul votes basically the same as his father on all issues. Guess what?
He's quickly, not slowly, but QUICKLY ascending the GOP ranks. Ron Paul only got the message of liberty out like he did because he went through the Republican party. Others have been preaching his message as independents for decades and gotten nowhere.
No progress. The best way to achieve our dues is through a party platform that the sheeple know. Until we have enough support within the main party, at which point we can break off if we so choose (if we are unable to change the party from within to the point where it becomes to our liking), NOTHING will be accomplished by running third party.
Basically, Rand is getting more done than any independent ever could. Notice Bob Barr, the 2008 Libertarian nominee for President, has rejoined the GOP as of 2011 after a failure at running third party. If you and I advocate the same principles, why does platform matter?
Labels are merely semantics and change nothing.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
