Generally, with dual military one soldier (normally the higher rank) receives full BAH w/dependent rate while the other soldier receives partial BAH. I have never known a unit to take BAH away from a married soldier unless they are moved into the barracks for disciplinary reasons. This is a case where you need to contact IG and JAG to get an answer about them taking it, and finance to get the info on how you and your wife's BAH will work.
Use the resources the military offers, that is why they are there for you.
As of January you were no longer entitled to w/ Dependent BAH. At best you would have dropped down to Single BAH (unless you have kids in which case you could have kept BAH at the with dependnet rate as they are on your Page 2). But if your command states that you live in the Barracks then you live in the barracks and are no longer entitled to BAH.. if you have no kids you are considered single as far as the military is concerned becuase you are dual military.
At best you can apply for an exception to policy.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
