The Intel is quite a bit faster in all respects. Even AMD's current octocore Piledriver CPU's lose to Intel's Sandy/Ivy Bridge quad core CPU's in gaming and are only about equal in heavily threaded apps. Also virtually all games made in the past 5 years are multi-threaded.
Many modern games (BF3, Crysis 2, Skyrim, Farcry 3, etc. are optimized for quad cores. BF3 scales up to six cores, and the upcoming ARMA III scales up 8 cores and will *require* a quad core CPU.
No comparison. Its just not even fair to the AMD part. The i5 3570k is quite a bit better.
Look at this Anandtech chart. The AMD processor doesn't win in a single benchmark. Not even one.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
