Will Mahalo Answers recognize questions and suggest that this has been asked before it lets you submit?

This is part of the responsibility for the person who asks the question, and part of the responsibility of Mahalo Answers moderators. They have taken down questions that are exactly the same previously. This is not always the right thing to do, yet if they feel this question is being asked too much in a short time frame, they will do take action.

Some questions are similar, yet they are not the same. Also, take notice that one question can have the same answer, even if it's a different question. For instance, if you were to ask the question, "What time of the year is the best to go to travel to a specific location?"

You might get the same answer for another question, that's completely different location, yet for a different reason. It might be a good idea to ask, "are you sure someone did not submit this question previously? " However, the challenge with this is that people sometimes feel like they want a newer answer, or even different answers.

Depending on when the question was last asked, that may give someone good reason to ask a similar question or even the same exact question again. There are ways to monitor this, yet in the end I do believe there is good reason to ask the same question over again sometimes.

I hope it's in the future. I haven't seen anyone say that there is a plan. But leaving it to other people's responsibility is hopeless.

People would have to learn to do that somehow, and why would they? The system is set up so that they don't have to.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
