I have one suggestion, and I can't promise it'll work, but it got me out of something similar quite recently. When you're on the black screen, hold down Ctrl, Shift, and Esc at the same time. Task Manager should open.
Switch to the Processes tab on the top list, and look at the list of processes to see what is running. If there is a process called 'explorer. Exe', right click it, and choose to quit or stop or exit it (I can't remember the term used).
Now, switch back to the Applications tab at the top, and press the 'New Task...' button. Type 'explorer. Exe' (without the 's), and hit enter.
The new task box should close, and the process may take a few seconds to reload. Go back to the Processes tab to see if explorer. Exe is there, and if it is, wait a little longer.
The user interface may load, or you may have to restart again. Like I said, I don't know the theory behind this, but it may work for you. I hope this helps.
If you have tried doing a factory reset and the result was still a black screen with a Cursor, I would ask you to take the computer to Toshiba Service Station or call up Toshiba to run a hardware diagnostics in it. It should still be under warranty and a factory restore had failed - looks like a hard drive problem to me.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
