Here's the problem:You have an old and underpowered router. Remember that routers have internal memory (just like your PC, but much less! ).

When you are streaming, you are sending a ton of data through the router and it simply does not keep up. So its internal memory gets clobbered and you need to reset it. My guess is that your router is 5-6 years old, and only does wireless a-b (not even G).

That is *ancient* in terms of router capability. It is time for a new router. Almost anything you buy today has much more memory than your old one, and it'll run faster besides.

You can good routers for as little as $20-$25. You can even buy them at WalMart if you want :-)That's your problem. Short of replacing your router, nothing will solve your problem.

Thanks for the reply. You are half right, it is 5-6 years old, but it is a Netgear wgt624 which is supposed to be super G. Not sure what the ram is tho.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
