With a high fatality rate, why isn't more early detection research done for Ovarian cancer?

I see that you've asked this of a specific hubber, so I hope you'll pardon my butting in. I thought this information might interest you ...In 2007, researchers at the University of Alberta found what they believe to be a cure for cancer. After clinic trials, they issued a report last year indicating that the drug they were using showed that the tumors either regressed in size or did not grow further during the 18 month study.(dca.med.ualberta.ca/Home/Updates/2010-0A..., they are trying to secure more funding so they can do further testing.

I read that they're not getting a whole lot of support because the drug they are using, Dichloroacetate (DCA) is not profitable to the drug companies. Their first round of testing was financed mostly from public donations, individuals and philanthropic foundations. Personally, I keep checking back to see if any new updates have been posted.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
