No, you haven't done your research. People from many countries can visit Japan for up to 90 days without a visa, which is enough time to find a job. You used to have to leave the country to get your new visa processed, but that isn't always the case now.
Also, many companies (and government entities) interview overseas. (See the JET programme, for one.) If you interview well, they'll get your visa for you. There used to be a big job fair in Boston where they'd pay for your flight to Boston to check things out.
Not sure if that's still going on .
Generally, you will apply for your first job from outside Japan - many companies have foreign branch offices where you'd be interviewed. Then you apply for the visa. It's also possible, although generally frowned upon by immigration, to come to Japan on a tourist visa, find a job, then change to a work visa.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
