Worst Bridezilla experience?

Mine was 3 years ago, while I was still in college, and paying for school and working only part time.......I spent over $1100 standing up in a wedding. First of all, the bride's bachelorette party was horrible as nobody brought cash to pay the limo, pay for cover to get into bars....So of course I was the only one with cash--paid it all...never got anything back from anyone But the horrible part is getting ready for the big day. We get to the salon and the bride tells us we have to have our hair completely up (which is fine) and that we must all then get our makeup done.

Well, lets just say this was not good in my mind, because I wear makeup all the time and know what looks good and what doesn't and I'm always complemented on how fresh and natural it looks. Her other bridesmaids are all "college softball players", so not a clue in the world......... So I'm getting my makeup done and the lady completely made me look dead---really pale and black and blue everything--so I was like take it off this is the worst makeup I have ever had on! I said I want a smoky look with silver and a bit darker shadow and black liner--easy---I end up with bright pinks and purples and look like a complete clown..So I throw a fit and refuse to pay for it and they wouldn't let me not...then getting our hair done at the same place they made it look like I was from the 1940's------This cost me $300!

So I went to take my makeup off and the bride threw a fit, I was so embarrassed to even show myself in public. Then, we're getting dressed and she told me my boobs looked to perky in my dress, well I can't help that, It was tasteful and not tacky, I'm not that type of person, but sorry they're not down at my waste, I was 21 at the time! She made me tape them down so they wouldn't look better than hers.No offense, then don't have me stand up in your wedding when you're 80 lbs heavier than I am!

Ohhhh then after this is all said and done---she leaves the guy she marries 2 months later. $1100 for 2 months.

When I was DJing weddings many moons ago, a bride SCREAMED at me in front of about 200 guests for playing something OTHER than Kenny G. Yup - she wanted the entire 4 hours of the reception to be nothing but Kenny G (we all wanted to kill ourselves). Another guest came and asked me to play something else (much to the happiness of everyone), and she FLEW across the room and screamed, "I told you I wanted ONLY KENNY G!"

So the Kenny G went back on and everyone left right after the cake was cut. She was all crying and didn't understand why... Another time, I had a bride's dad threaten to kick my butt if "I didn't play what he wanted. " He was poking me in the chest with every word about three inches from my face.

I told him to play whatever he wanted, I wouldn't be threatened and walked out and left. I felt bad for the bride who was horribly embarrassed.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
