Yes it would be fair to say that shipping jobs overseas does not help the local workers. Corporations are controling things right now and as long as the working class has little or no say in things it will continue to get worst for them. Not all Western countrys are like this, look at Germany.
Germany has a strong working class with both unions and law on their side. They are also some of the most productive workers in the world.
Yes...There is little doubt in my mind that we Westernized nations have caused our own economic woes. The biggest problem come from those who take constantly without regard to who they are taking from. Large companies do not want to pay taxes.
Heck for that matter neither do I. But the problem lies with increased taxation. Every year Congress spends more money as if they are the ones earning that money.
They give it away. Buy things or services at an extremely inflated expense. Because it is "special made".
This wasteful spending leads to raising the taxes over and over again. There now a very few people who I talk to who even care about making any money right now. What I mean by that is there is no motivation to try to form a company and grow rich.
The current taxes are too tough and the new taxes that will take effect this coming January are really going to put a damper on things. You are right. IF there are no jobs people can't work.
If they can't work they can't buy the goods. It is a vicious cycle that only Congress can end. But they are too stupid to see the forest for the trees...They all are just a bunch of Educated Idiots.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
