Joseph was a good interpretor of dreams. The truth about Joseph is that he understood his own dreams and what was to come of them. He did this by God though.
Noah also knew that a flood was coming as he was warned of by God. He was also instructed as how he was to be saved in fact building an Ark. I myself have had terriable nightmares and they have been world ending terrifying dreams.
They have warped my mind as so that I have not the heart to even shed a tear. The real fear is when your nightmares become your hope and this world is lost along with all of the people and those of whom you once trusted and loved. What I mean is that you realize that the world as you knew it vanished and you now know how bad of a condition that the world truely is in.
I have yet that God has given me instructions on how to survive like Noah, but I have a few ideas. I think.
Yes, I would believe it only if God confirms it by 2 or 3 different witnesses. God will confirm (John 8:17) "It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true. "(2 Corinthians 13:1) "This is the third time I am coming to you.In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.
"1 John 4:1 (The MessageDon't Believe Everything You Hear--My dear friends, don't believe everything you hear. Carefully weigh and examine what people tell you. Not everyone who talks about God comes from God.
There are a lot of lying preachers loose in the world.1 John 4:1 (New International Version)--Test the Spirits-- -Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. Through the Word of God 9 ways God Speaks--(2 Tim 3:16, Psalm 119:11, 105): This is the most clear and effective way of God’s communication with his people. If you want to know how things works perfectly, you need to read the manual.
Bible is God’s manual for his people. But as in case with other manuals, we often ignore Bible. How often do we try everything else, but his words?
Through the inner still, small voice of Holy Spirit (Acts 11:12, Acts 13:2, Acts 16:6-7, 1 Kings 19:12, Isaiah 30:19-21)Through the advice and counsel of men and women of God (Prov 12:15)Through the Audible Voice of God (Acts 9:4-5)Through Dreams (Matthew 1:20-21) – There are many instances in the bible, when God clearly communicates through dreams. Through Visions (Acts 10:9-18)Through Angels (Luke 1: 26-38) (Check out Angels and Demons: Bible Study)By circumstances: There is a danger though, letting mere circumstances run our lives, can be opening doors to Satan. So be wise with regards to your circumstances and expect God to speak to you through them. By Inner Conviction and Peace: It is similar to the inner still, small voice of holy spirit.
God can give you deep conviction and inner peace about something.(Discover God’s Will – Practical Preparation)http.
No. I think God (or the idea of God) gives us only one message - he loves us. And that's why were here.
But, as I am very much interested in dream interpretation I think I'll visit your hub later. :).
Seems strange, like some one trying to edge in on a Palm reader style of money making, but just using the bible . Nah I wouldn't go there.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
