You mention to replace spark plugs but you don't note anywhere what the gap should be set at?

The gap should be set according to the required plugs needed for your car. But that gap adjustment thingy, it works.

Best bet, go to a Jaguar dealership. I can't recall, but I think spark plug gaps are vehicle specific. If you don't have the owners manual, try getting your hands on a Chilton's manual.

Try Bosch platinum plus four spark plugs. The gap is already set and they are the best.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
