Any good fishing spots along the susquahanna river in harrisburg, PA without a boat?

I've never fished the Tittabawassee, but I have a Fishing Hot Spots map, that I got at Gander Mountain, for Saginaw Bay. Besides showing Saginaw Bay and part of the Saginaw River, it shows some places on the Tittabawassee River to fish. The first is a stretch from the Dow Dam to Gordonville Road.

The next spot is down stream a ways...it says to fish the outside bend below the old railroad bridge. It's below Smith's Crossing Road. The next is a stretch between Shlicker Road and Freeland Road.

The next area is the outside bend above Imerman Park, then Imerman Park and Borkovitchs Bend. The next is an area known as the "Red House." The next spot is an island above the Hwy.

58 bridge, known as "Bean Shippers". Fish the deep water below the island. The next is a deep water section above Hwy.

46 bridge, called "Drifters Run", then below the bridge , the deep water of "Bruces Bend". Then the deep water by the Germania Golf Course, with easy access from Center Road. The last spot they mention is the stretch from Green Point Island downstream to Carrollton...but this sounds like it's more of a winter, ice fishing location.

Most of these spots would be more easily accessible with a boat...you didn't say if you were fishing from a boat or off of shore. According to the material in the Fishing Hot Spots map, it sounds like there are a number of navigational hazards in the river. If you're in a boat, be sure to watch for them.

If you're fishing from shore, you may have trouble accessing some of the spots...it could be private property or maybe there's too much brush along the bank to fish, or may be the bank is too steep...in which case, watch your step...a life jacket may be in order...be safe. I don't know the area at all...all of the information I've given you came off of my Saginaw Bay Fishing Hot Spots Map. If you have a well-stocked sporting goods store, you might want to pick one up for yourself, or check out the information first-hand.

The maps shows places to fish, what baits and techniques to use, what species of fish are present, access points, and a whole lot more. The map I got cost $10. Hope all (or some) of this will help you....good luck!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
