Anyone ever heard of the "International Talk Like a Pirate Day" before?

I have heard of it. It has become more popular with things like iPhone apps. Some restaurants have pirate day and waitresses dress like pirates.

I think movies like Pirates of the Caribbean have made it more popular.

Arrrrghhh! Aye! A whole day dedicated to Pirates 'round!

A day out of the bildge rat an' out on the deck takin' a caulk.

Kinda fun (but gets a lot of weird looks). Start everythin' with Argh! Or Avast!

And drop the endin' g's on ev'ry last word. That should make you a keen pirate talker.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
