Anyone have any idea about LCD TV's? Need approx pricing info for 37" or 40". Philips vs Sony Bravia: which is better?

I would avoid a Phillips at all costs. After working in TV sales for several years, no brand comes close in terms of repairs needed as Phillips. One should definitely choose Sony out of those 2 choices.

Although if the brand choice was open I would choose Samsung. Samsung is putting out the best picture and the most reliable set for over the last year. A good entry level 40" TV from Samsung runs about $935.00 @ Best Buy.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
