I too really wish the questions on here would be written respectfully by people really seeking information. Why do people write nonsensical questions? Generally, it is to bait and insult people of other faiths.
That's too bad because this forum is really a wonderful opportunity to find out what others believe from the people who profess those faiths personally. If I want a Christian perspective on Calvinism vs Arminianism and address it to Christians in the topic line, I'm pretty sure all answers referencing a spaghetti monster are going to be irrelevant. That said, there is a place for trying to persuade so long as it is respectfully done.
It is the only way you have a chance of persuading anyone anyway. It really does happen that people occasionally change their minds on things. That's why the noun "convert" exists.
People wouldn't change their minds if they didn't believe what they converted to was better than what they converted from. Searching for truth is a good thing, and asking those who may have found it for directions seems like a reasonable approach. Offering directions is a gracious thing to do as well.
God in the Abrahamic faiths, will show the disbelievers his path, a sign so powerful the person will acknowledge that this was truly the sign of the divine. However, the person still has free will. To either accept that path to God or not.
In Islam, Allah has set a seal on their hearts and on their hearing, (i.e. They are closed from accepting Allah's Guidance), and on their eyes there is a covering. (2:7) Then after him We sent Messengers to their people.
They brought them clear proofs, but they would not believe what they had already rejected beforehand. Thus We seal the hearts of the transgressors (those who disbelieve in the Oneness of Allah and disobey Him). (10:74) Some people will never convert, because their hearts have been sealed, even when it is logical and rational for them to accept the divine, they will not.
The best is not to focus on converting/reverting others but rather to let them know of your faith and let them come to their own decision. It is only by God's will, if they are rightly guided or not.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
