Moses predates Jesus (the cross) by several centuries. In fact, a cross is an idolic symbol, and if you remember, "Thou shalt not make unto me an graven images." Nobody is banning anyone from wearing their idolic symbols of torture.
However, the ten commandments are sorely lacking, and are offensive to many people. When god doesn't think "Thou shalt not rape" is worthy of a commandment, but has to insist people worship him (god uses up four commandments for that), it is evident the the laws of Moses are those of a superstitious nomad.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
