Can A Quantum Physicist be a person of Strong Religious Convictions?

Absolutely. In fact quantum physics, if people understood it, I think would make more people more spiritual (maybe not "religious"). The fact that everything we see is illusion would open some eyes (as in matter does not exist, only spirit).

Then your supposition is that ones education level would create difficulties as to their ability to adhere to any religious ideology! Perhaps NotPC, the converse could be True!

What if, in the new paradigm construct of Quantum physics, they discover that the realization of such order and function would indicate a higher intelligence responsible for that order, NotPC!

Then if such were the case, my friend! The well accepted Einsteinian E=Mc2 formula may in fact be all the proof needed to indicate the possibility of a Supreme Being or Creator Perhaps?

Based on the usual connotation of the word "religion", my answer is yes.

Because quantum physicists are at the leading edge of a science that already has empirical proof that as you observe an atom closer and closer, the illusion of solidity disappears, and all that is left is energy or 'spirit' as religion would refer to it.

In the end Truth reigns.. not religion nor any branch of education...

Truth is very personal for it distributed on the individuals basis not adherance to set rules or dogmas excepting itself...

I do not believe that religion and science ever contradict one another, only that there is so much little understanding in both fields that they release their anger on each-other. The beliefs that religion and science are separate entities should be coming to and end as more answers are discovered and more mysteries are solved.

Any person of any profession CAN believe in any religion they choose... However, I think you would be hard pressed to find anyone that educated to have strong religious convictions.

You asked the question first and then answered it yourself. If you already knew the answer, why bother asking the question.

In general people think scientist don't believe in God but that can be the case of anyone who believe in 2+2=4.

There is no theory to prove God's existence except the blind faith, belief or logic.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
