No they cant press charges all they can do is tell you to pay late fee or move out the house Added: There are no "charges" to be pressed. It is not a criminal matter. It is a civil matter, and they CAN take court action to require that you fulfill your part of the contract.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
