Most of the box haircolors do not have high enough levels of peroxide/developer to get you were you want to be. The SWATCHES you see on display "represent" what you might get....in over 30 years I have seen NO ONE get what the swatch shoed, unless your have VIRGIN WHITE HAIR. Make sure what ever color you use, it has a NEUTRAL base.

Also remember you will have to do a ROOT touchup every month like clockwork or it will look bad. How about if you use a light blond and just do a WEAVE instead of all over color....that will save a lot of time for touchups etc. Just get a cap...pull some hair through and use a light blond......that should make a pretty contrast between the light & medium colors....The only time you use bleach is if the hair is dark and you want to be very light blond...I never recommend bleach unless your sure...because it is FOREVER! Until its cut off....there is no changing your mind....anything you attempt to cover bleach with, will bleed through within 8 shampoos...so choose your color wisely..

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
