Can you put a light ash blonde over reddish brown hair to lighten it and remove red tones?

I went to get my hair dyed a dark ash blonde and the hair dresser dyed it orange! Arrrg! Well, I tried dyeing it med ash brown, and it turned black.

Used oops twice, and dyed a light ash brown... black again. Oops again, this time using a dark ash blonde over the orange hair.It went to a dark brown with a lot of red tones. ( I had highlights.. and my roots keep staying really light orange and won't hold color?

Call 800 number Look on the box of color you used to turn it med. Ash brown. There should be an 800 number to call for questions regarding their product.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
