Can I swap a HARD DRIVE and put in another to retrieve my data?

Hi Its seems your system is infected with some kind of trojan virus. Backup any data that you have stored in the drive where you have installed your OS (most probably C:\). Format and reinstall the OS.

As soon as you are done, install some trusted antivirus program. Never stick onto to anything that you get free of cost ( I mean freewares as you specified Microsoft Security Essentials). If you find it difficult to buy, download any good antivirus software (cracked versions) from the net.

Try using McAfee Security Center or Quick Heal Total Security. The detection of both the above softwares are so good. If your system config is too low, quick heal is the best option or if not go for Mcafee.

Install the antivirus as soon as you reinstall the operating system. Perform a full system scan. As soon as you are done with it, see to it that your system is free from virus.

Then start installing your drivers and other softwares. As for as your pen drive is concerned, never plug it into the system before you complete all the above work. Later plug it and format it immediately to prevent any virus affecting your system again.

Now everything is fine. You can start using everything as usual. Some powerful trojan viruses have the capability to spoil the pen drives completely that they cant be used again.

In that case you need to switch on to the new one.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
