Hi and thank you for your question. While kennel cough in dogs can be quite serious and often contagious to other dogs it alone cannot kill the dog. Kennel cough left untreated could get worse thus making the dog's immune system weaker and making it more susceptible to other illnesses.

Kennel cough can be treated at home. You will need some children's cough syrup, honey, a syringe, teaspoon, a towel and some blankets. Give the dog some honey, enough to coat it's throat then wait an hour or so and give him a teaspoon of the cough syrup.

Turn your shower on the hot side and let the room fill with steam with the bathroom door closed. Bring your dog in and sit there for twenty minutes while pounding the back of your dog gently to loosen up the mucous. Once the twenty minutes is up dry the dog off from the moisture in the bathroom completely then lay him on a warm dry blanket in a dark room so he can get some rest.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
