Can't figure out why my MacBook battery will not charge past 99% - anyone help?

It sounds like your MacBook battery needs to be calibrated. According to the Apple support page, here is how to calibrate your battery: support.apple.com/kb/HT1490 1. Fully charge your MacBook until the LED indicator turns green.2.

Allow the battery to rest in fully charge state for at least two hours. 3. Disconnect the power adapter with the computer still on.At this stage, your MacBook is running on battery.

4. There should be a warning, when the battery goes low. Leave it unconnected to the power, then it will go to sleep.

5. Turn off the computer and let it sleep for five hours or more.6. Connect the power adapter and leave it connected until the battery is fully charged.

If this hasn't resolved the issue, your battery might not have the full capacity to be charged (especially if it is over one year old).

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
