Cell phone--unlocked but still "branded"?

With an unlocked phone you should be able to what you want on any network as long as its the same technology. It sounds like they are giving you the runaround, if you can make calls but not use the internet its a bit strange. You might need to make sure that the phone is using the right settings in Settings > Wireless and Network > Mobile Networks > Network Operators.

I've had AT&T service for years with an old "dumb phone". Santa brought me a smart phone (a T-Mobile Samsung t929). I obtained the unlock code, unlocked it, and put my AT&T SIM card in it.

It places and receives calls on AT&T, but wouldn't access the web. I inquired at the AT&T Store, and they tell me that the phone is still "branded" and thus not all of its features can be expected to work on AT&T. Are they giving me a runaround, or what?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
