Don't know about the passport, but I do know that no felon can buy a gun, whatever the actual crime that was the felony. You'd need to be actually pardoned for that to be possible.

You can get a passport. There might be countries that would deny you enterance due to being a felon, but it is highly unlikely they would know. They don't check for a felony record unless you are red flagged for some reaon.
