Do you believe all dogs can be trained? Are certain breeds harder to train than others?

I certainly believe that all dogs have the propensity to learn some tricks or types of behavior. In my personal experience, I have noticed (and have been told multiple times by other dog owners) that teaching a larger breed dog can be somewhat easier and more successful that teaching a smaller breed dog. I have a Pomeranian, who is almost 5 years old, and although she learned how to “sit

, “give paw , and “go to your house Pretty quickly from little on, she also never learned much else thereafter.

Okay, I have to admit that I did not really invest large amounts of time in trying to train her correctly, but we did attempt to teach her a few additional tricks, some of which she initially got the hang of (after treats were repeatedly offered), but which were also soon forgotten. On the other hand, we had a Lab who as a puppy quickly learned to “speak , “jump

, and “dance In addition to some more common puppy terms. Sure, he never truly learned to be house-broken, but in terms of understanding certain terminology and acting upon it, he was pretty great.

On the other hand, our small breed pup seems to understand thing you tell her or talk to her about. For instance, if you ask “Do you want to go for a ride? €?

She quickly dashes for the front door and when it is opened she will run to the car and wait next to the door. I read once that little dogs can store a vocabulary of up to 250 words in their long term memory. Well, my dog sure seems to be able to retain a lot.

But she only acts on some of it and only when she decides to.

After watching "The Dog Whisperer" many times. I have come to a conclusion. All dogs can be trained, it's the humans that are sometimes untrainable.

All dogs can be trained but I'm sure there are breeds that are harder to train then others maybe due to brain size. I think the ones hardest to train are stupid dogs.

All dogs you can train without any problems. What I know is that it is hard to train if your dog is old, in any other situations you should not have a problem. For good treats they will do everything.

No not all dogs are trainable. Toy breeds are usually hard to train. Toy breeds are the small dogs such as Chihuahua, Yorkshire Terrier , Papillon and Shih Tzu.

A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
