Do you have to be Irish to celebrate St. Patrick's Day?

I don't see why. It's actually a much more festive holiday in the U.S. Than in Ireland. Irish-Americans don't take offense at non-Irish persons joining in.

I'm only 1/4 Irish, so I only have a quarter-pint of Green beer.

Nope...us Scotsmen celebrate it to the ...kilt.....

Not in the least. And just FYI, no Irishman worth his salt would ever drink green beer.

Everyone should celebrate st. Patrick's day! We are all Irish on this day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! From the Swedish one .

I'm about as Irish as a taco, and I still wear something green.

Actually I'm mostly Russian and Scottish. Happy St.Patrick's Day everyone!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
