I would be fun to see men in those apparels. However, I feel it's necessary on special occasions or themed events.

I have wore skirts on and off for many years now I go out in skirts lots of the time and no one is bothered I have flown from the states to puerto rico in a skirt and never got a second look I think it is time that men wore what they wanted to not what they believe other people want them to.

Panty-hose are an abomination, even on women. And a great source of crotch-rot. Why any guy would want to wear them is beyond me.

Totally warped. Seek counseling.

Or you live in San Fransissyco and already see it all the time.

Men should have the same rights as women to wear.

What they like, Its about time that men have fashion freedom.

If more men would have the guts to do it, and they made.

Skirts and pantyhose for men, I think it would catch on.

I think it already is. I wore a dress, pantyhose, and heels today to get a haircut, go to a Dr's appointment, get a bite to eat, and run to the grocery store. Not one negative comment. In fact, I had two women tell me I looked great, and another said she really liked my dress.

Wear whatever you want. It's all about confidence.

I go out personally to the store in my heels and hose and dress (or skirt/blouse outfit). I even do the makeup thing. I go to the biker bar and noone ever tries to pick up on me as they can tell I am straight. It is acceptable as even the police never say anything to me unless they have a question for me about something I may have seen in an incident or accident.

It is almost as acceptable as gay marriage is becoming common.

Yes, I think it will gradually catch on, as more men try it and find out how much positive reactions it gets from the women. It really is no big deal. If you are nervous, start out with a denim, or khaki cargo type skort.

Try it, you might like it May peace with all, jenisis21@yahoo.

I have been reading a lot lately (online) about mens skirts and other items traditionally thought to be female. I was very surprised to see that a lot of women like the idea of men wearing skirts and even more surprised at the number of men open to the idea. I haven't seen any dresses specifically for men but the point that men originally wore skirts and dresses (robes) is a valid one.

Pants were originally invented for men (for the purpose of riding horses, as I understand it). Does that mean when a woman wears pants she is cross-dressing? Societal mentality has never been very logical.

A company that makes mens skirts: skortman.com is owned by the same guy who owns comfilon.com.

This is a site that sells legwear for men: pantyhose, tights, nylon stockings, etc. Their customers are professional football teams, firefighters & rescue workers, and professional athletes. These items can also help people with varicose veins.Yes...men get that too. Also, I'd be willing to bet that wearing pantyhose is cooler for the crotch than underwear and skirts are cooler than pants.

I think that women's approval & encouragement about this matter will go a long ways in making it more popular and acceptable.

Hopefully not in my life time. We have enough social disturbia today without adding to it.

And since when did finding your true self mean that you haad to be wierd. It used to just mean trying new things and sowing oats.

As women become more powerful in society, I think it will be more acceptable for men to have more fashionable choices. Women have been on a constant climb in the workforce for the past century.

Men are looked down upon for choosing more feminine clothing, because society in the past has seen men as superior and women as inferior. On the other hand if women wear men's clothing, culture has seen it as an increase in their superiority.

Acceptability is happening slowly, but I truly believe it will be based off of women's stature in the work force.

Sometimes gray areas are permanent...society seems to want it this way...i guess the men in kilts got away with something and got it accepted....so lucky....what about the rest of us....dean.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
