Well it will hurt the cartels because those "new" drugs will be more expensive and and marijuana is one of the most used drugs in the us so it would be a heavy hit, also they can tax it and add some much needed revenue to the country.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. Even a large amount of marijuana won't kill you. A small amount of heroin, cocaine, or meth can kill you. Cannabinoids are substances that the human body already specifically has receptors for.
