2 Yes, it does seem that way outside of my immediate family and there's probably various reasons for that, but the first reason that comes to my mind is that Mom's seem to like getting that kind of attention more so than Dad's. Another reason could be that most Mom's give birth and are usually the primary caregiver to the child - change diapers, feed, etc., which is highly honorable in my view and should be celebrated.

My husband has been and is an excellent Father and that is why our children celebrate and honor both of us equally on our special days.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
