I think you cannot tar everyone with the same brush. Here are 2 people I know. 'S' has 4 children.
The father of her two daughters physically abused her. Not a week went by without her receiving a beating. After 10 years of abuse she left him.
She found love, remarried and had a son. Tragically her husband was killed in an accident when their little boy was 4 months old. Four years later she has remarried.
She is 5 months pregnant. Could anyone consider this women 'bad' in any way? 'L' has had 6 pregnancies.
Her first three have different fathers and were taken from her and put into care. She aborted her 4th pregnancy and has been allowed custody of her youngest son who is 4. He had a different father from his 3 older siblings.
She is heavily pregnant with #6 (again, a different father) I cannot think of her in the same way as I do 'S' and although I do not 'judge' I find it hard to feel kindly towards her (she is a cousin) especially as she has never worked and lives entirely on ... more.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
