Does anyone know if the Halls of Congress and the White House are ADA Compliant?

Since some of the buildings are 100s of years old it is probably difficult to make them completely compliant. Hopefully they at least have chair lifts.

I can't say that I've ever looked but we have had members of all branches of government who have been disabled so I am guessing the answer is yes.

Leroy, according to Compliance. Gov, Capitol ll has improved compliancy with the Americans with Disabilities Act, but still has room for improvement. (compliance.gov/publications/presentatio However, the White House is STILL attempting to meet compliance (fox-architects.com/blog/post/challenges.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
