My daughter and I always took our dog out with us while riding the horses but we never had her on any kind of leash, she was always free to run with us and the horses trusted her, often she would run underneath them and this was no problem as they seemed to like her doing this, hope this has been helpful for you best wishes--lizzy.
DO: Make sure your horse and dog are used to and tolerate each other. DO: Make sure your dog is well-trained so that he will respond immediately when you call to him. DON'T use a leash or rope of any kind; it's just too dangerous.
There's nothing wrong with having your dog run loose alongside your horse IF he is well-trained and obedient, and IF you are on trails where this is allowed; many people, myself included, take dogs along with us when we ride. Your horse also must be obedient to your commands; he must respect your dog's space, and halt, slow down, or turn immediately to avoid stepping on him if the dog DOES get too close.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
