Its actually a pretty shifty system. Women were treated better there than the U.S. You could essentially become anything you wanted like a doctor or an engineer. Women were expected to work until they got married unless their career was better than their husband's.
You don't really have to stay home and take care of the children. Most people got paid under the table it wasn't an ideal situation but most people were in the same boat. For the record, the way women were treated really depended on their religion and culture.
For instance Jewish women had more restrictions than Christian women.

A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
