Has the tea-party hijacked the republican party?

I am a Republican and try every day to distance myself from the tea party politicians. They are off the rails and don't appear to be willing to get back on any time soon. I live in SoCal.

We have lots of Hispanic Republicans here. Family values still mean something evidently. CRONUS: The deep south and the rest of the country are not the same thing.

We like our southern members because family values are important to them. We don't support racism at all but we do not cast people aside because we think they aren't perfect.

They cant appeal to both, most racist tend to be republicans, and the tea party members are far right radicals. The establishment does not like the tea party. Establishment wants Romney, tea party wants anybody but Romney, and the libertarians wand Dr Ron Paul.

Donald Trump flirting to run 3rd party, with a divided party and no electable candidate, President Obama will easily get re-elected and I know this will hurt some republicans feelings but they are a not that big now. Obama should win fairy larger then he did in 08 but it might be a little closer, it depends on the Nominee and if that nominee can survive the Obama campaign and the Clinton.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
