Wouldn't it be ironic if us liberals hijacked the Tea Party Movement by taking it to its extreme?

Because they don't understand the tea party ... in their mind the liberal policies are CLEARLY the best course for everyone and anyone that DOESN'T"T get that is obviously an extremist. It is the culmination of decades of a liberal education system and a change in attitude from what can I do for my country to what is my country doing for me. With most of them it is like arguing with a brick wall... while telling you how important it is to have an open mind they leave theirs closed.

Your argument here would seem to be a lie stops being a lie if you can get enough people to believe it. Not a real strong argument is it? "Us tea partiers believe in a BALANCED BUDGET, that government should live within its means just like normal Americans" This just exposes your hypocrisy - to demand it in a recession when revenue levels are their lowest in 60 years (but refuse to even consider addressing that fact) but not care during a growth period when we should have been running surpluses is absurd.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
