Here's an excerpt from my book. Tell me if you like it.?

1) You can apply for the Tier 4 visa up to 3 months before you plan to enter the United Kingdom. On the application form you will be asked: “On which date do you wish to travel to the United Kingdom?” You can enter any date within three months; the visa will be issued with a validation of 2 years from this date.

http://ukinaustralia.fco.gov.uk/en/visit... .. 2) To enter the United States on the Visa Waiver Program you will need to apply for an online authorisation (ESTA) on the website of the US Department of Homeland Security. The application involves a fee of US$ 14.00 to be paid by credit card (American Express, Discover, Master Card, or Visa). You should apply for it at least 72 hours prior to travel, however you can also do it in advance.

The authorisation is valid for two years. Since flight detail columns are optional to be filled you can also do it will in advance. http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/travel/id_vis... .. Make sure that your passport meets the requirement for visa free travel.

It must contain a two-line machine-readable zone on the bottom of the picture page. All passports issued after the 26th of October 2005 must contain a digital photograph; passports issued after the 26th of October 2006 must contain a microchip (e-passport). You need to have evidence of an onward flight ticket booking to show on arrival.

3) The United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland are part of the Common Travel Area. It allows the freely travel of British and Irish citizen between the countries. There will be no regular immigration inspections on flights arriving in the U.K. from Ireland.

Hence an airside transit to the U.K. via Ireland is not possible. You will need to pass the Irish immigration inspection on arrival. Australian passport holders can enter the country without visa.

On arrival in London you will need to report to a U.K. Border Agency office to have your entry documented. http://www.dfa.ie/home/index.aspx?id=877... .. http://www.citizensinformation.ie/categories/moving-country/moving-abroad/freedom-of-movement-within-the-eu/common_travel_area_between_ireland_and_the_UK ..

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
