History's Mysteries: who do you think Jack the Ripper was? There are many suspects and many books. (see details)?

1 Amara, regarding your answer "Walter Sickert": I saw a television special that had Patricia Cornwell support her evidence for Sickert. I thought she made some great points, but I have been told since then that there is a hole in that theory. I hope this discussion will mention the hole(s) because for now Sickert is one of my best guesses, too.

Thank you so much for answering! .

Please answer in the discussion section, too. I'd love to have an on going discussion about this case. I often wonder why this case stands out.

Why do you think it stands out over 100 years later?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
