How can I get a job working for Jason Calacanis?

According to calacanis. Com, Jason M. Calacanis, posted that: "You have to be willing to live around and work in Santa Monica daily….. no remote, sorry.

However, we love hiring folks from middle america and giving a shot to work at a company backed by the best investors in the world (like Sequoia Capital, News Corp, Elon Musk and Mark Cuban). We've grown the site from 0 to 15M uniques in 30 short months. In the next 30 months we would like to grow from 15M uniques to 60M.

If we do that we'll have made a huge impact…. And you'll have something amazing to put on your resume. If you're interested in being a killer, on a killer team, email me your resume and tell me what your life has been like up to this point.

If you've been stiffled and held back by middle managers and idiots all the better…. So was I until I worked at a startup. Jason at mahalo.com.

I like a scenario where the more you work, the more you earn, while setting your own schedule. It wouldn't hurt to adopt Mahalo as a bit of a hobby, then explore your options. If you have worked for a large corporation in any capacity, you should be a good writer as part of the job description.

As soon as you create a page for Mahalo and manage it, you begin to benefit from shared revenue via Google Adsense. You also get paid on a sliding scale for creating the page. Here's where you'll find tasks awaiting writers.

mahalo.com/tasks I'm a publicist. My hours were cut last year. While "courting" new clients without much success, I found Mahalo.

Presto! Problem solved! I have the publicist thing going on, and I write for Mahalo as well.

And, by default, I "work" for Jason Calacanis. You might want to give it a shot while figuring out your game plan in transitioning to a new field. Worked for me!

Email tyler(at)mahalo(dot)com with a cover letter and your resume.

I'd do a little research on how Jason is as a boss if I were you. He's a great guy, don't get me wrong, but he's also an extreme Type A++ personality, and expects everyone who works for him to be the same. There are interviews with him on the web that might help you decide if you want to give 80 hours of your week to Mahalo.

Not that it's not worth it, but even normal Type A people tend to burn out when working for Jason. Seriously, though, despite that, it would be a great learning experience, as Jason is one of the most talented webtrepreneurs out there, and well aware of his own faults, and very fair. I, too, suggest that you throw yourself into working for Mahalo as one of us peons first, and then you will see how staff interacts with us, and how Jason himself interacts with us.

I am a very laid back type C, and I love and respect Jason, although I think he gets a little aggravated with my mothering sometimes. :).

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
