How can one ease teething discomfort in babies?

From experience with this problem I recommend a few different things to try. They helped us, they might help your friend's baby. No matter what it is a messy time for the baby...you have to carry around clothes to help wipe up the drool and it is very painful - think of wisdom teeth coming through or oral surgery and you know what teething is like .... A good teething ring, one that you can put in the fridge and cool down is really good, a few of them!.

Cool things like icecream, coldish fruit, that sort of food helps because the cold numbs the pain a bit. Chewing helps. Chewing crunchy food helps the teeth come through and I know it sounds like it would hurt but it can take away the frustration of having a sore mouth.

They seem to get inot things like rusks and really gnaw away... Teething gel is OK but some have a fair bit of alcohol in them, you need to read the ingredients so best to ask at the local chemist or check brands online ( there are plenty of varieties ) and lots of hugs and cuddles and gentle massage around the neck and shoulders because that's where they store up all the pain and frustration. It helps them sleep if you give them a nice massage while you put them to bed. They get sore muscles too, just like we do when we get pain somewhere.... hope this helps.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
