There are no entry level jobs where I am looking. Do I stop into offices? I'm in a pickle.
I want to switch careers and enter the Green Building Field. I can't find any jobs that are entry level, but there are tons of companies out there. What do I do?
Should I fold my resume and cover letter into a little house? I'm stuck! Asked by hotdogwilliams 48 months ago Similar questions: switch careers enter field entry level jobs stop offices Business > Jobs.

Research, network, don't lose hope! It’s incredibly hard and stressful to look for work, especially if you’re making a shift. I’m looking for a new job myself and the different books that I’ve read and counselors that I’ve spoken to have all stressed the importance of research (know what area you like, why, learn more about the field) and networking.
You can tap into the people that you currently know and tell them that you’re looking to make a change and ask if they have any advice, any people that they suggest you can speak with. Don’t ask for a job but for the chance to speak to them, let them offer up any opportunities that might exist. You can tap into your college and professional school networks, sometimes the career placement offices and alumni offices are able to help.
Sometimes reading about networking and job searching help as well. And keep your spirits up-you have a lot to give to the new employer. It’s a matter of identifying this and stressing it when you finally have a chance to come in contact with them.

A temp service or someone you know may help get you in. If you go to a Temp service they may be able to help you get in someplace and it can turn into a permanent position. Once you are in on your first position then the next job is easier to find.
Ask all of your friends to help you find a job too. May be someone knows someone, etc... Good Luck .
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
