My personal goal is to buy a sailboat. In order to keep my focus on this, I've set up automatic transfers into my savings and brokerage account. I've also picked up a part time job on a sailboat charter, taking the money I make from that and putting it in my 'boat fund'.
All of these things reinforce my goal and make me look for other ways to make my goal possible. While I'm at work, I've put a sailboat model on my desk, by my computer monitor. Whenever, I see it, it reminds me why I show up every day, to own day buy a boat and sail off into the sun!
To achieve all my goals in life, I think of my family. I want them to give a good life, most especially my parents. I stay positive as always and never surrenders.
I think that "this is the last chance I have, and I want it the best of it" =) When I think of myself travelling around the world, experiencing all the beautiful things the world can offer, I am very much focused to what I am doing. You can do it too! Good luck!
MY personal goal is to one day have my own tech start-up, while the current life situation dictates that my time should be spent on my family and my career, I try not to forget one of my life goals by keeping a picture of it in my wallet. It is the picture of the day Paypal first got bought by EBay and they were having a little celebration, I try to remind myself that someday, I want the feeling that they had.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
